Periodically I will stop by the Luxor, get a rack (100) of $1 chips and look for good ones. I do this to primarilly get traders. It seems that on a regular basis, Luxor mixes-in new chips. I do not know if they are constantly re-ordering, or just add new ones from an existing supply, and taking out older (worn) ones. I did this last weekend and spotted 22 good conditioned chips (I only kept 18). All of them are "blank/blank" i.e., void of a security code on both sides and satin finished. I also found a very decent linen finished "CIRCUS/CIRCUS" and a dirty and worn linen "TUT/blank".
