I, for one, like ALL of the posts changed from the unviewed color (blue on my machine)to the already viewed color(purple on my machine). I do this even if I do not read the posts. This strategy makes it easier for me to keep up with new posts in threads that interest me. If this inadvertently inflates someones ego because their post got a hit, then I am sorry. I doubt that I am the only one who does this? In my case it does not necessarily mean interest in the content, just simply a post management system.
