I had a similar experience with an auction of mine in which I was negged & had a strong argument for Ebay to remove it, my bidder ended up being removed from ebay over the auction.

Ebay wouldn't do it. Several other sellers told me that Ebay won't remove feedback for anything. It doesn't hurt to try though.
