My Norton anti-virus software picked up a virus in an e-mail that I got this morning. I've never heard of it so I had Norton delete it. Here is my log can anyone tell me what this is and is it dangerous?

Date: 7/29/01, Time: 3:47:38, PreferredCustomer on DEFAULT
The file
c:\windows\TEMP\Current Laughlin Chips.exe
was infected with the EICAR Test String virus.
The file was deleted.

This is why I stop posting my e-mail address because I've started to get stupid sh** like this being sent to me via e-mail.
