Depends on what model it is. If it's a FD-5 you don't want it. FD-71 is 640 x 480 with autofocus, and you might want to go to the next level of definition.

Sony made about ten different cameras called a Mavica, so the model number is all important.

By the way, I have a FD-7, one of the early models, and it works great. I got my moneys worth on this toy.
