...to a text file using notebook, and store it anywhere on your hard drive other than in your email software!!!! Name the file anything but email addresses or address book! Then empty your address book!

These viruses spread because they are able to resend themselves to addresses in your address book. I've been hit more than a dozen times in the last week, yet I haven't unknowingly passed it on to anyone else. I wouldn't have even if I had opened an attachment, because I have NO email addresses in my address book! The easiest way to stop this crap from infecting everyone you know is to make it impossible for it to resend itself to any of your friends. Copy your address book PLEASE! THEN delete it from your email program! This isn't rocket surgery!
