you said "They are those numbered plastic thingies they give you at the gate and then take back as you get on the plane."...exactly..they re-use them and there is no added expense to print and issue them...do you realize how many people SW flies each year? I have just stated facts that Southwest publishes in their annual report...they do save "Millions"..it just isn't in the paper they save, it is in the time factor of waiting for something to print, something to mail to customers, etc...you do know that SW sells more airlines tickets and produces more revenue through their website than any other airline...they must be doing something right...
Just because an airline doesn't give out paper boarding passes qualifies them as having no customer service?...I disagree with you...I feel their boarding agents and flight attendants are some of the friendlist of all airlines...and customer service "glows" with SW. I'm sure you and others have had bad experinces with many airlines...we all have had bad experiences with airlines...Howvever, something must be right..as SW is the only airline to make $$$$ for over 26 straight years....if customer service was as bad as you state, I doubt they would be making so much money!!
chew on this!
