I took everyone's suggestion; uninstalled Toshiba Flashpoint; bought new batteries; and retria--alas, same error message. I'll have to see if Toshiba can help. It's a nuisance to use the direct connection to the computer.

And here's "Zoe Bliss" now age 2 whole months.
