I received 16 chips in the mail yesterday and FOUR of them were in pieces ! What have I done to offend the USPS????
But seriously I would like some opinions of the value of taking insurance on chip lots. I paid for insurance and the ebay seller sent the package with insurance. When I contacted him he informed me that the postal service would need every chip in the package before they would process a claim. Fortunately the only chip in the lot that I really wanted was not damaged and I told him to forget it.
What is the general consensus on insuring low dollar shipments of chips? Anyone have horror stories or success stories or advice?
