That is what I was looking for - SOMETHING to send up a flag (beyond unsolicited emails)
It is not uncommon for me (most of us) to get emails from people I don't know - new chippers introducing themselves - or responding to a post or proposing a trade from a web trade list. People asking questions about an item on ebay or specific chip. (or a Bucky's slot card 
Knowing the key warning words/clues sure makes me feel better and less paranoid about trying to be friendly to those who are just being friendly.
