This may be a wanring that everyone that uses NAV shoud go into their AV software and do a Live Update. Hearing all this talk about viruses spreading throughout this community caused me to check mine last night. I could swear that I had just updated but my Norton software told me that my Virus Definitions were over 1 month old. These definitions can get old quick. It is recommended that you update these definitions every couple of weeks. I have noticed a flurry of new viruses in the last week. When you see so many new virus warnings hit as quick as recently I would even update more frequently. Update your definitions and if your subscription is expired it is the best money you will spend to renew them. There is also an update available for the Norton software itself (Norton 2001). Check my previous post about extraction of files. My brother, as mentioned, uses Eudora as well. He got hit a few years ago when his software automatically opened a virus. He checked his preferences and found a setting that would NOT OPEN FILES attached when downloading mail. He now has to manually open them. Check your MS Outlook and other email programs to see if they offer the same options. Hope these few words helps.
