An article in the Palm Beach Post travel
section mentions the currency that is going to
be replaced by the Euro will be accepted by
merchants for a 60-day period. Afterwards, banks
will exchange the former currencies for Euro.
(projetion: up to 10-years).
A dealer working at Travemunde (LUEBECK) tells me
that some casinos will take up to 3-months before
the changeover is complete. She did say that slot
tokens would be in play the following morning (?).
The piece seen below (50 French francs) is from
FORGES-les-EAUX. Though the piece does not
mention city, department or country, the famous,
well-known casino logo (fountain) says it all.
