Congratulations Ken (and Steve). I could have spent the rest of my life looking at the 1920's for an answer! Afterall, the first clue stated:

"I'm a female of the flapper era. At the time I did what I did it hadn't been done before. Sorry boys it happen the [sic] that one spring time day. WHO AM I."

Although I certainly was not around back then, I believe the "flapper era" is more commonly associated with the Roaring 20's (more so than it is with the 1910's, let alone 1915)!

I was mislead , but the challenge was fun
