() Though not notched (and the first of a run series), all Burgogne et Grasset jetons and plaques carry the 0000 serial. They are not sent to the house, either. Sometimes, the 0000 is duplicated.
As many people may know, not only do I collect European material, I also search for the lowest possible serial number. I have pieces going back to 1929 that are either 1, 01, 001, 0001, 00001, 000001. 
Why not?
