Ross; The brand new mini-golf course across from the old boardwalk convention hall has been completed and is now in operation. It is BEAUTIFUL and a welcome addition to what was formerly a lot of wasted space. For those who have not been in that area recently, take a stroll down there. I guarantee that you will be impressed with the quality improvements. Very attractive landscaping (yes, right on the boardwalk) and a permanent outdoor ampitheater with lots of benches overlooking the ocean and the bust of JFK next to the mini-golf course.

Also, the old boardwalk convention center has been all redone inside which according to news reports I have read has been restored to it's original splendor as nice as the day it opened in 1921. Additional seating has been expanded to hold sporting events and concerts. The numbers I heard just this weekend is that seating will now accomodate 14,000 to 19,000 people compared to the largest facility currently in A.C. at the Taj Mahal Etes area which only holds 6,000. It will all be ready by this September for the Miss America pageant.
