I am familiar with your scanned chips and from the looks of them there is nothing wrong with them. I mean if you want to scan your chip collection they will do just as well without spending or investing more in "cheap" nice digital camera.

And if you want to buy a digital camera the 3.3 magapixels or the new digital camera with 4 megapixels are out in the market.

I think the scanner is good for chips.
