Robert Eisenstadt sent me a set of three jetons
that appear to be from "OSTENDE BAINS de MER" (see
link)
Though this manufacture is known to be early-20th
Century (manufacturer unknown), I've only seen one
other casino use it: Casino Municipal de Nice.
The jeton is made with a recess to receive the
litho inlay, and the metal filigree is of an
overlay type that is deeply embedded but still
having a high relief as some of the better quality
Monaco pieces.
Can anyone make out the rest of the inlay (DonL;
Dick C )?
Belgian Bob, please see that Marc-Andre REYNCKENS
sees this.
