The mystery deepens for the last chip in the scan (brown MSC). Gene sent me an ID that showed there was a large order of chips in this style for the Muskogee Social Club in New York City, 1930. But the browns were not made until 1938 and sent to Jake Katleman in Los Angeles! I believe Jake Katleman helped run games on the off-shore California gambling boats like the Tango and Rex, and the '38 date fits these. Dual coast chips! HELP! I love this kind of research, even when it's confusing!
