I drove up to Mesquite after the covnvention before I flew back, and when I got a slot card at the booth at the Oasis, I noticed a big sign advising people to cash in their slot card points by July first. I asked what was up, and was told that the B-- Brothers (don't recall the name, offhand) who owned the Casablanca next door were buying the Oasis and would be taking over as of July 1. If there are to be new chips (and cards too, possibly) they are for the Oasis. I don't know if both places will be using the Casablana VIP Passport cards, or if each place will have their own card. Someone will have to check.
