Archie, the numbers quoted in the article stated those people were making between $8.60 and $13.00 per hour. These are positions where the employees also receive tips. I can't accurately guess what they make in tips by how I tip slot attendents, but if its close, they are middle class. ...and my initial middle class reference was concerning unions in general, and a different industry, automakers and the UAW.
