Paulson did too Jill. Perhaps that's who made your chip. I'm going on the assumption that molds with the hat and cane design got sold and returned and carried to other companies due to breakups and such and as the molds got copied the aspect of cane to rim and length of cane changed over time because no one but chip collecting nerds ever gave it any thought! Lots of fun to futz around with this stuff hobby-wise though. Let me cut and paste a thing or two from past postings and e-mail you some stuff I've saved from some of the more knowlegable sources here on the board!
