AS USUAL... I just CAN'T figure out what the heck I am doing.
I thought this chip was TCR# N9877. The HS is silver (chip has signifcant wear/ fading.)
This afternoon - I removed it from it's plastic flip (to store in a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2) and was under strong light... and by golly!! I could SWEAR those hats were shinin'

So I looked it up again. Joe Shaw posted a great CJ ID post some months ago - about CJ inserts being concave, right? Add long canes... and a little shine and hmmmm... could this be TCR # N3806 instead??

PROBLEM is: TCR # N3806 says the HS is gold.
(But hot-stamping doesn't hold it's color real well anyway... does it?? And ummm... no one ever told me that... about "not holding color". I just kinda made that up )

so Help? Anyone??
