~~ with you "suggesting" that Bruce Karli may not want to invest "that kind of money" in manner that implies he couldn't afford it or that he has no concept of business. MAYBE that isn't what you are suggesting, but it sounds that way to me.

Bruce Karli probably won't say anything himself because... golly... it'd be interpreted as bragging or justifying... so I'll do it.

You are correct in part- he probaly wouldn't WANT to invest "that kind of money".... he is a COLLECTOR - not a dealer. And he has been running his OWN business for years... probably since you were in diapers.

But after being welcomed into the Karli's lovely home (more than once) ~~ don't imply or assume what he can and can't do. He could rent out the SHED in his back yard to meet your "financial" demands.
