William, I recognize that you are already aware of this, but many people have only seen the chips (or scans of them) and may not be familiar with the Win Cards process.
Scanned below is the complete Win Cards process, except for using them in-play. In this example I have selected Excalibur's participation in the program, which is still going on.
A. A blank application form to join Excalibur's slot club, currently called the Crown Club and likely to change soon. All Win Cards programs that I am familiar with require membership in the slot club program.
B. By joining the club you get a slot club card. The one shown is now outdated. The current Crown Club card has maroon trim, not blue.
C. A Win Cards application/request form. Just fill it out and present to the slot club promotion desk. This form can be completed and processed at the same time you join the club, or at a later date.
D. A Win Cards voucher given out by the slot club promotion desk when you fill out the form above.
E. Take the voucher and $10.00 to the Cashiers Cage and they will issue the Win Cards package (1-6 below).
1. The Win Cards "package" is contained in a zip-lock bag which has a sticker denoting that it was "compliments of" the casino (Excalibur in this case) even though you pay for it.
2. There is a tri-fold brochure that explains the Win Cards program, and how to use the Cards.
3. A Win Card for roulette play.
4. A Win Card for blackjack play.
5. A Win Card for craps play.
6. A voucher, for you to give to a dealer, which will give him/her a tip.
7. 15 Win Cards chips. In the Excalibur instance they are Unicorn mold chips. You may bet them as though they are real chips (one at a time, or all 15 in one bet). When you win, the chip(s) is replaced by a live chip and the Win Cards chip(s) is pulled from play.
Lastly, I collect Win Cards as complete sets, i.e., items 1 - 6 in the scan. I have traders (as sets) for sets I do not have. I currently have Excalibur, Lady Luck, Circus Circus (LV), Four Queens (1's and 5's), Santa Fe, Sunset Station, and Edgewater.
