That is actually funny because one of the First Nations people I had in my office told me he was not an Aboriginal because he didn't live in teh bush in australia and wear a loin cloth, that he wasn't First Nations because Canada was everyone's first Nation, he was simply a good old fashioned Canadian Indian. One of the smartest fellows I have talked to in a long time. I think that Aboriginal is more properly traced to the Aboriginees, but it was an accepted name for the Canadian Indians prior to the re-classification to First Nations, or so I was told in my training course on Native Sensitivity!!
