You touch on something that I was trying to define between Rene's Auction at $55 open and Petes at $9.99. Pete is asking the highest bidder to determine how much he is willing to pay. Rene is saying, if you read his eBay listing, "They are very hard to get. Get em while you can". By putting such a high open bid he then infers, Pay this or you won't get one. "But reality IS: Most people WON'T get to pay what they think is FAIR... They will pay whatever they MUST"

I won't make any comments on how a person does his business. I just think it is unfortunate that many won't be able to get one of these chips because of the bidding hysteria that is going on and the high prices most dealers are getting. I heard about the tokens, on the morning they were released, I saw a post here on the chipboard and clicked on it. The quote was a little higher than I would have preferred but when I saw the prices on other dealers websites I realized it wasn't that bad. I am glad I dove on it. It turned out to be very fair. Hope you can eventually scrounge one up. I can't wait for mine.
