So you understand, I was in no way disparaging Bruce.
Like any hobby there are two sides. The collecting side and the business side. It's nice that Bruce wants to be the hobbies white knight.
Not everyone associated with chipping is a collector. Some, (and you know who they are)are in it just from the business side. Then of course there are verering degrees of collector/seller.
Casino's are in it for one reason and one reason only. To sell chips that they hope will not come back. You're right. Casinos don't care about the little four chip collector. Some of them don't even care about the guys who buy larger quanties.
As long as there are people who can't go to the cage themselfs to get chips there will be people willing to sell the chips to them at a inflated price. That's what free enterprise is all about.
The bottom line is if you don't like the price, don't buy the product. If you think you're doing your fellow collectors a favor my alerting them to a price that you think is to high, you're wrong. All your doing is alerting them to another auction. Let each person determine what they feel is a fair price.
