As posted by Ralph Myers, the Regency Casino is now closed. I talked with several people at four different casinos and there is no concensus on who bought the property, but I tend to go along with the Harrah's rumor. For some time Harrah's has been using the Regency as a shuttle stop, and the exterior of the Regency has been used for quite awhile to promote entertainment acts at Harrah's.
The Property is long and narrow. Perhaps 200 feet wide, it stretches from Casino Drive to about 30 feet from the river (at least a football field). As I recall it had four blackjack tables and perhaps 100 slot machines. The tables were rarely open, and now I am disappointed that I did not get any greens ($25's).
The $2 (yellow) chip was issued for collector purposes and not table use.
