... that this thread is getting overdrawn. But, I can't resist trying to correct some misunderstandings about unions.
I have been on both sides of the fence -- employer & employee. I remember the post WW II abuses in the Teamsters, Coal Miners & Railroad Unions -- shutting the country down with their strength -- even though most of us couldn't do anything about their demands. I have also seen the benefits that Unions have brought the working man & woman -- 40 hour weeks, overtime pay, pension plans, 401(k) & other profit sharing plans, medical insurance -- the list is long.
I also realize that those whose minds are "made up", as Archie Bunker would say, aren't about to change, so, no matter how inflamatory the post, I'm done with this thread.
