The scan doesn't show it but there are TIRE tracks at 45° across the corner where the stamp is, on the back you can see a toe print of a tennis shoe. On the return address the envelope is showing signs (tearing) of giving up the battle. Judging by the wrinkles it fought a hard battle!

BUT.... It survived! Sure glad they didn't put it in their U.S.Gov.Mail shredder!
