Gene, I also would support any and all shows that were convenient for me to attend--such as in Reno, but I just wonder if it would be profitable enough for any promoter of a show to embark upon such an endeavor.
If what I believe is correct that the attendees are mostly members of the club, the majority of which live outside of convenient driving range,
then it wouldn't pay for a dealer to set up on a monthly basis.
But I am sure the promotors have a better insight to this then me. I would just not like to see anyone lose money--promotors or dealers. It must be fun for the collectors as well, or they will not come back. And do not forget, the most enjoyable part of these shows are the renewing of friendships. Without doubt, that is the best part of the convention.
