After the convention, I visited my father out past Tucson and decided not to take my usual route home, a couple of 750 mile legs. I went to Laughlin for the first time. 113 degrees when I got out of the car at The Ramada Express at 2 pm. Great refrigerated room for $22 thanks to advice from a couple of guys on TheChipBoard. This town offers what downtown Vegas wished it could. Big casinos and cheap eats and rooms. Only had about 8 hours to recreate so didn’t get to every place on the river. Made some nice money with Edgewater WinCard chips and liked the Golden Nugget a lot. Umm, every table seems to have its own set of blackjack rules, what’s up with that? I’ll be back.
