It doesn't quite work like that. When I'm in admin mode, every post I read is open and in an edit box, ready for me to edit if I wanted to. So it will probably take a little more than just changing a few lines of code to add an edit feature for everyone. But, it would be a great feature. I will suggest it to the author.
