IMO, 5% is still very cheap to expose your auction lot to all the eBay eyeballs, Robert. And you only pay it if you sell the lot. Any other high-visibility auction would charge you 10% or more.

PayPal is doing exactly as I thought they would in adding fees to make it a going business. I never participated as I knew they would either go out of business, or raise their rates so they could make some money. Still a valid service, but nothing is free in this world (except Hard Rock chips in the convention goodie-bag) [g].
