.... I started the "Shotgun Swap" with other Banknote collectors some time ago, we sent packages not only all across America but overseas as well. We experienced a small amount of losses (but were low enought to be an exceptable risk). There were very often delays, but most did show up after some amount of time. We joked and laughed about everyone sending ONE banknote in a huge swap and everyone insuring their package for a MILLION dollars, hoping at least one or two would be lost and we would split the claim. Like hitting the lottery! LOL We never actually did it, but it was fun to talk about. (Insured mail I think is tracked a little better! Surely a $1,000,000 package gets a little better care! LOL)
We lost 1%~3%, that's not bad especially considering we did INTERNAIONAL. High value or more rare swaps were insured (we NEVER lost one of those, even the INTERNATIONAL ONES). That kind od killed our theory on getting rich quick!
