Now that I have a DIGITAL CAMERA , I have to say thanks to the many many many people (and this thank you extends beyond the convention ) for all the Harrah's booty bestowed on to me.

This is SOME (not all) of the things that people GAVE me during the convention. It amazes me that while people stood there packing their bags... despite the fact they probably had plenty to carry... managed to leave an extra corner just to bring me a gift.

I have to make a specific reference to Bob Orme - who brought "The World's Largest Harrah's chip" seen here all the way from Colorado.

I also have to say thanks again for all the stuff I receive from club members on a regular basis - (and this has nothing to do with the convention): the wooden nickles, car chips, dog chips (for my son) - slot cards, room keys, (extending credit ) ... SO MANY things are simply given to me by generous members without hesitation.

I wrote that article a while back that actually made it to the club magazine. I said it then and I say it now:

The greatest thing I have gained from chip collecting is not in the form of rare or valuable chips... it is meeting and getting to know some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

MY THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE! (especially Katie who didn't bid against me on the Harrah's Chipco )
