Hi, Dave.. that's a nice 5.00 chip from the Avalon Club which was in the Ritz Hotel in Emeryville, California. The Avalon was a legal cardroom, starting in about 1943,and lasted until about 1976. Prior to being called the Avalon, it was called the Yosemite Card Club
