Don, local prices have gone up. I actually had to pay 50c for some casino ashtrays last weekend. ;-) Nothing rare or unusual, but I used to be able to find them from 10c to 25c at rummage sales, and 39c at the resale stores like Goodwill.

One of these days, I find a good one. The $3 minimum in the books reflects on a minimum price, just for the reason you mentioned. Shipping is more than the ashtray.
