No wonder you are confused Jill! So was I until reading everything in this thread. B&G just bought Bud Jones, something that happened within the last month or two. If they have made any coin inlay chips since the acquisition, I'd have to assume that they would still be just like the BJ CI's made before the ownership changes, including the "BJ" on the chips.
What was also confusing was Gene's description of BJ chips that have a coin inlay but aren't coin inlay chips. It could be better described as, if you took apart a BJ chip with an inlay that isn't metal, you'd find a metal slug in the center of the chip, placed there to add weight to it.
