Pete: I have to agree with you on the above info.
I know that a few of these chips are making the rounds because they came from my personal collection.
I can recall seeing almost all of the Ho-Chunk chips that way.
I do not recall the exact years - but I believe those are about 4-5 years old.
I too am not aware of any large qty's coming into the marketplace.
I know that when they changed racks, I inquired about purchasing some in bulk. They never got back to me, so I never went any farther.
I have never contacted Wis. Gaming to find out their rules regarding the destruction of chips.
I wouldn't be suprised to find a large qty of older chips at some of the casinos.
