Did you get the chip back? I recommended a dachshund to my daughter and son-in-law because they wanted a small dog that could be a tough little dog, if necessary.

We fell in love with theirs, so they and my wife obtained one from a doxie rescue service and surprised me with it. Everyone in the family is totally gone on this dog. He was wonderful to have by me as I recovered from cancer surgery. And I do make a total fool of myself over him.
