I don't consider a chip made after the casino is closed a 'counterfeit', Jill. Counterfeits are made to defraud the original issuer.
Chips made after the casino is closed are modern reproductions and may or may not have been made to defraud anyone. I have many of them and see nothing wrong with collecting them.
We should be careful that another emotional crusade is not started to dictate what the hobbyist acquires for his collection. Disseminating information on these modern reproductions is fine and serves a valid purpose.
