A good friend, Lou Tarter from KY, was card room manager. Lou and I played poker together for 20 years prior to LV. The Holiday was my 2nd job in LV.
Another friend from KY, Red Bill, came to see us. Played in the 1 & 2 stud for 3 straight days and blew $1,200. We were still razzing him about that until the day he died in the early 90's.
Good story on my 1st job, but will save for another day.
