... and didn't have nightmares over "missing out" on that "mystery" chip Jill posted for me. Too bad Jim Follis had to spoil the fun so early in our brief little game we were playing. I'm sure Jill and I could have had a few more of you in our pockets before the night was over!
Acutally, Jim Gardner is correct. This was a proposed convention chip that was designed by Kevin Norris, but was accepted as the winner for the club's convention medal design instead of the club's convention chip design.
Months before the convention began, our very talented chip designer Kevin emailed me and asked if I had a digital camera and if I could supply him with a photo of me with my right leg kicking in the air and my left arm around Brenda. My 30 year old daughter Nancy stood in place of Brenda and Brenda took the picture. I sent the photo to Kevin and this is what he used it for. Kevin gave the two prototype chips to me at the convention for which I am deeply appreciative. No, they will never be for sale. They are one of my fondest and treasured memories of the 9th Annual Convention.... and have a special place in my collection of club convention memorabilia.
Great artwork, Kevin! Deeply appreciate your sentimental gift. Thank you too Jill for your conspiracy in this attempted but failed gag.
