The way the O'Shea's silver strike machine was arranged is what led to some folks getting a number of the club silver strikes. Since there was only one of the Ltd. 125 in each fill of 50 strikes, the collectors who really wanted these Ltd. 125 strikes ended up with extras of the Ltd. 500. They were putting 10 of the Ltd. 500 and 1 of the Ltd. 125 strikes in each fill of 50 strikes. Math doesn't work out on that either since at that rate they'd run out of the 500s before they did the 125s. (Maybe somebody can explain how that worked out.) When I was there it seemed it took an investment of something like $1000 to get one of the Ltd. 125 strikes. The couple I was watching may have looked greedy as they had something like 7 of the Ltd. 500 strikes but as soon as they won their Ltd. 125 strikes, they quit playing. So I don't feel they were greedy, just die-hard collectors that really wanted that Ltd. 125 strike. And I'm sure they'll sell off some of the Ltd. 500 strikes to recoup some of their sizeable investment. I didn't try for one of the Ltd. 125 strikes, by the way.
