Somehow I imagined Bob Orme to be a big Colonel Sanders type - yikes! Did I miss the the boat on that one!
My thanks to all will have to come later - as I haven't even completely unloaded my Jeep yet... (most the chips are out - but the chocolate is still out there melting).
Scans will follow including Bob's personal gift to me (along with Steve Zacchi's and Ralph Meyers' and Lisa Jungs and and and... omigosh! TOO many to list!!). Bob brought me the Worlds Biggest Harrah's Chip (at least we haven't seen one bigger - yet) since he knew I had "most of the others"
Back to work for me! (no job means no chips... I gotta chip so I gotta work at least a couple hours today! )
Nicetameetcha too Bob (and EVERYONE - I know I missed a few of you.)
One of the most surprising things about this convention was the enthusiastic reception I received. Good Lord! I walked in and immediately 5 people "I didn't know" (kinda - you know what I mean) announced I had 5 (other) people looking for me!
The entire time I was there I was greeted, met and whisked away by dozens of people (sometimes an HOUR! ). It AMAZED ME! My welcome and "popularity" was only topped this morning by my female puppy who was so glad to see me, she promptly peed in the middle of the kitchen floor ~~ and truthfully ~~ I am glad that she was the only one who had THAT reaction.
I had a GREAT time! and only wish I had gotten to spend some "quality" time with a lot more of you. I didn't seem to get to spend more than a few moments at a time with many before I heard,
"HEY JILL! From Arizona!! Come here... look what I got for ya/ to show ya/ brought ya!!" WHAT AN AMAZING TRIP! AMAZING!!
