I just returned from the Inaugural sailing of Golden Princess. The ship left Southampton on the
16th of June for 12 days and ended in Barcelona after 7 ports of call in France, Spain, Portugal
and Italy. The ship is in the new Grand Class of the Princess Cruise Line, 109,000 Tons with a
passenger capacity of 2,600. I have scanned the
new chips purchased on board, as usual there is
a Inaugural- 5.00, a regular issue 5.00, a 1.00
special chip and a new version 50cent chip. I was able to obtain some no cash value chips(the pale
green chip in the upper right corner and a 25.00
chip but only have one extra. The
50 cent chip is in the top row with an old one
below it. The new 50 cent chips are a princess
mold instead of H&C and has larger print and princess logo. I have also included in the scan
a commemorative custom glass trivet that is signed and numbered. In addition, I have posted
my room key, I.D card from the ship. As always,
I am interested in trades for other cruise ship
chips or foreign and will have extras for sale.
