... wasn't a chip. It was this picture of Lake Tahoe in 1953 that shows some of the south shore's gaming establishments of the day. What makes this picture special is the inclusion of Dopey Norman's, which some Tahoe historians had never seen before. Tony's Club went in Dopey Norman's location the following year. You can also see George's Gateway Club and the Wagon Wheel Saloon. For those familiar with the present-day Tahoe, Dopey Norman's is now the southernmost entrance of Harveys.
