We as adults know and comprehend the odds and limit out exposure. A child does not; it seems to be an OK thing to do. IT IS OK if you understand the rules (odds) & understand you are being taken advantage of on EVERY game in the house. Mathematical certainty. You know it & you take your chances. A kid does not. Would it be OK for a severely retorted person to gamble not understanding that it is generally a losing proposition? They think they are certain to win, and do not limit their exposure. A kid thinks the same way and later learns the reality.
