I try and avoid problems by only taking "good" cards in the first place. If you are in a casino that has lots of obsolete issues, I would suggest just walking around and looking for those. The current ones can be obtained at the booth for asking, so why put potential heat on yourself for no reason? Your comment about a theoretical situation with the Trop security guard is disturbing. Let's hope that never happens!
